The most horrific war in human history officially ended 75 years ago today. I can still remember as a 6 year old 1st grader walking to school past houses with those red and white banners in their windows with those blue stars for every family member in the military. And I remember at least one house with a gold star for a loved one lost. I can still remember how happy we were when our good friends the Spletter family who lived across the street from us welcomed their twin sons Milton and Melvin home safely from the Navy in the Pacific. Sadly today they and most of their comrades are gone and those who remain are dying by the hundreds every day just in America alone. I hope and pray that mankind will never again have to suffer thru anything like WWII again. May all those who were lost rest in peace.
Very touching.
Yes and I prayed for all that passed and drown
It's was a sad day
Just like 911
Why can't you believe in our country and stop burnging it down
