What it takes to make a video for @Live.Collegiate.Shag

Posted by Dance

This was my favorite adventure yet! If you missed the process when it was actually happening (posted on my Instagram Story for 24 hours) then check it out here… In the 1920s, the narrowest place in the Arroyo Seco was dammed to control flooding, and it was named Devil’s Gate Dam, for the demon-like face of a horned figure in the natural rock outcropping.

Now people claim it is haunted and I don’t know about that but it is trashed! It makes me sad to see such a cool area filled with so much junk.

BTW I was nervous about the ladder but I was also worried of falling while dancing because about twelve inches behind us was a drop into water… oh for the love of Collegiate Shag!

Dance because you can.

  1. Devil's Gate Dam. I Went there so many times during my wild teenage years. That place is dangerous for so many reasons I wouldn't go back there unarmed. I love the video, You rock!
