From Fox Movietone newsreel out takes 1943
There’s some pretty good dancing here especially beginning at about the 1:20 mark. I like the brunet with the ribbon in her hair dancing with the guy in the vest with glasses.Unfortunately it’s pretty choppy because it’s taken for a series of newsreel outtakes. The iconic Hollywood Canteen was a spot where American and other allied service men could go for eat, dance and be entertained by Hollywood stars. The only star that I can positively identify dancing here is beautiful Linda Darnell at about the 2:30 mark. The date was December 24, 1942,
