I would disagree with the narrators comments about jitterbug but there is some brief but interesting newsreel footage of first the Benny Goodman Carnage Hall Jazz concert of 1938, then a little Lindy Hop and finally a bit of the Lambeth Walk which was a ballroom dance that was a lot more popular in the UK and Europe than it was in America.
