From: AMERICAN BANDSTAND 12/18/57
Dick Clark’s American Bandstand was without question the most popular teen dance show broadcasted nationally from the 1950’s to the 1980’s. This episode from 1957 when the show was still in Philadelphia features three couples dancing to the music of Fats Domino who was certainly one of the early pioneers of Rock & Roll.
I agree with M.Sheridan ,they look a lot older, but they sure can dance !!
I saw Fats Domino at the San Diego Wild Animal Park in 1985; the mother of my college friend, Barry, saw him in 1948.
