More like Jive dancing, we did the Bebop to all the fast R&R songs out, by Bill Haley, Chuck Berry, Lil Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, Fats Domino etc etc. these early movies were whitewashes of what really was going on in teen life
Awesome exciting video, must be the first time, that real wild, exuberant Rock ‘n’ Roll dancing was shown in a movie! And this was one year before the legendary R&R movie “Rock around the Clock”, with many similar dance scenes, also to the music of Bill Haley and his Comets.
