1920’s Dance 1929 (The Cochran Girls)

Posted by Dance

From Movietone News 1929
C. B. Cochran was a well known British showman who produced a wide variety of shows for a wide variety of venues. Many of his revues featured a chorus known simply as “The Cochran Girls”. Here they rehearse a routine under the direction of Max Rivers about whom I know nothing. Though this is basically a tap chorus routine there seems to be at least some elements of the Charleston to be seen and later maybe even a little Collegiate at the very end.
